While still in the planning stage, the foundation aims to support MSMEs and local communities through digital education, tech training, and equitable access to funding.

With a Web2.5 approach, we aim to bridge the conventional world and Web3 making it inclusive, secure, and accessible for everyone.

Once the foundation is officially established and receives grants or support funding, we plan to make all WAI Store services completely free for all warungs, powered solely by optional donations from those who are willing and able to give.

WarungAI wasn't built by a big company or a venture-backed startup. It was created by a 13-year-old Indonesian boy named Chakra, who had just finished elementary school.

With no team or funding, he built this platform from scratch learning by doing. His only support came from his parent, who contributed UI/UX design and the vision for WarungAI as a tool to empower small, local businesses in Indonesia.

Together, they turned a dream into a full ecosystem. From store listings, AI chat, live commerce, to wallet integration everything you see today was made with love and a deep desire to serve the community.
